Dude you do hold them i have my own and its only three weeks old and the lady told me what u do with them and she said stuff like give em food water and HOLD THEM!
If they are eating solid food, you can hold them. Although you SHOULD wait till two weeks, when they have more fur, just to be safe.

The way the other bigger hamsters (Maybe its mother is one of them!) didint try biting you to take away the baby, so since it knows you were touching it I don’t think it should try to kill or abandon the baby :)

When you touch a baby hamster your scent gets on it and the mother wont think its its baby and it will abandon it or even eat it. you have to wait like 2 weeks or something before u can touch them
