Mindy the hamster shoves a carrot half her size into her cheek. Quite amusing. She died May 5th 2008.

my hamster used to do the same. he would lick the carrot first then he would stuff it in his mouth. precious hamster you’ve got there, too.
i remember giving my hamster sunflower seeds…he stuffed a total of 48, i think.

be carefull because if hamster put too big objects in their cheeks, it may get small wound and afterwards it can die later when wound catches infection.

Erm just to correct this comment, hamsters have natural born pouch by the side of their cheeks. They will use the pouch to store yummy foods/snacks and “throw them out” @ their nest.
