I have a Dwarf Hamster. Dwarf Hamsters are smaller than other hamsters. So I was wondering also if they make special dwarf hamster mix since they are much smaller? But if they don’t I would appreciate if someone tells me which brand of hamster food makes the best food for my little hammy.

Some dwarf species (Cambell’s varieties including Blueberries) are prone to diabetes. They shouldn’t have sugar or molasses in the ingredients of their dry food mix, and they shouldn’t eat fruit.

Mazuri – pelleted form – this keeps hamsters from picking out only what they like and not getting a balanced diet. This is actually manufactured by the same folks who make the lab blocks that most breeders use.
Hazel Hamster – seed mix – add some of this in, so that the hamsters have something to horde and stuff in their checks.
Campbells are prone to diabetes – so pick out the corn in any seed mix you use and feed it to the squirrels. You should also avoid all the cute sweet (molasses laden) treats that they sell.
Kaytee Fiesta! is a great choice. i chose that for my robo hammie. the sunflower seeds r fatty, so u can take alot out and use them 4 treats. Here’s the link:
